Taylor Patterson Financial Services in Preston chose Miles of Smiles as one of their chosen charities for 2009/10.  They held several events including a quiz night and dress down days.  They raised over £3000 and we were thrilled to receive a cheque for £1591.00.  Many thanks to everyone on the charity committee for all their hard work and to everyone who supported them.

How can we thank Cllr Mohammed Khan?  Cllr Khan was Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen in 2008/9 and chose Miles of Smiles as one of his charities.  The people of Blackburn with Darwen did him proud as he raised more than £22,000 in his Mayoral year.  We received a cheque for £5000!  It is truly overwhelming and will mean we can make our smiles even more special.  Thank you so much to everyone involved.

Freemasons of the Province of East Lancashire are a wonderful.  It's official.  At the presentation night held in May Miles of Smiles was given cheques to the value of £2450.00.  This amount of money really means that we can put an extra something in our 'smiles'.  We really cannot thank you enough.

Heather Hook presented us with a cheque after collecting all the money in that was promised for her head shave.  The total was divided between ourselves and Lammack junior football team.  We each received £882.50.  An absolutely astonishing amount from an absolutely astonishing lady.  All of us at Miles of Smiles wish Heather well with her battle. Heather is much loved by many people and if caring cured cancer then Heather would be well.
