Yazmin lives with her mum who suffers from mental health problems.  Yazmin, 13 helps with household chores and is a carer and support to her mum.  She's had a really tough time recently with one thing and another and so was nominated for a smile.

Yazmin has asked for a lap top. She will have her lap top by the end of this week.

 Xanthe was nominated by her mum.  Xanthe's big brother, Alexander was knocked down by a taxi in May 2009.  He was killed instantly.  Needless to say this hit the family very hard - not least Xanthe who misses Al desperately.  Its been a very tough year for the whole family but mum said that Xanthe is her star and deserves a little sunshine in her life.

Xanthe has asked if she can go and see Paramore.  The tickets are booked for Wednesday November 10th.................

Jaqui is a great support to her mum who suffers from depression.  She has a little sister, Abigail who is 1, so Jacqui also has lots of 'big sister' duties. Jaqui didn't really know what she wanted to do but maybe, possibly go in a hot air balloon or something exciting she wouldn't get the chance to do otherwise?  Our thinking caps are on..........

Rebecca is fifteen and lives with her mum, Melanie and dog, Oscar.  Melanie has had two strokes in the past twelve months and struggles quite a bit because of this.  Rebecca is her saviour looking after her round the clock - cooking, cleaning, helping mum to bed, doing her hair and generally cheering her up.  She is a massive Liverpool FC fan and has asked if maybe she could go and watch a match or something.  We are working on it!
